The University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) is the largest and most prestigious academic medical center in the Philadelphia area. To take advantage of the changing dynamics of the healthcare marketplace, UPHS purchased a large office / industrial building to create Penn Medicine at Radnor, a multi-specialty outpatient facility.
Modeled after high-quality hotels, the flexible, state-of-the-art medical facility creates an environment where patients feel welcome and comfortable while receiving world-class medical care. The modular design includes 15 specialty clinics, ranging from imaging to general medicine to women's care. The infusion therapy room overlooks a large, beautifully landscaped area to enhance the patient experience. Patient areas, designed to function as individual units, feature natural daylighting and soft lighting, scenic watercolors on warm-hued walls, and cherry casework.
