The conversion of two historic commercial buildings created 117 residential units, with floor plans ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments. An eight-story timber structure with masonry wall bearings, and an 11-story building with a terra cotta facade and steel frame with structural clay infill make up the apartment complex. Tenants enjoy a fitness center, billiard room, social room, and a roof deck overlooking the city. The first floor contains a mix of retail and commercial space. To attract design-conscious tenants to downtown living, the buildings are wired to accommodate advanced technology, and showcase the principles of sustainable design through energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
