Working with Michael Graves & Associates as design consultants, Burt Hill provided architectural, interiors, and MEP systems design for a new 500-bed residence hall on a prominent campus site. To respect the scale of the adjacent residential neighborhood, the building was limited to five stories. Setbacks and articulated bays soften the mass, and a ground floor retail complex serves the neighborhood. The efficient mix of four- and six-bed suites, as well as underground parking, has proven to be popular with the university community.
