Justison Landing, a brownfield recovery site adjacent to the Christina River, is comprised of essentially six new city blocks.  Mixed-use in nature, the site is divided into seven parcels devoted to housing, retail, offices, and a hotel.  The development plan is structured around Main Street, with lofts and apartments above in a low-rise, high-density model.  Residential living options include four seven-story buildings housing two-story townhomes with luxury, loft condominiums sited above.  Two additional buildings feature one- and two-bedroom apartments, ground-level retail space, townhomes, and loft condominiums.  Multilevel parking is located behind buildings and under plazas to preserve street frontage and public open space for retail and residential functions.  The overall goal of the design is to maintain a sense of continuity along the streets, and draw people in from other areas to visit the shops and access the riverfront walk.
