Immaculata University Master Plan

Immaculata University

Immaculata, PA

375 acres

After an in-depth analysis, Immaculata University decided to welcome men into its traditional undergraduate college.  To prepare for significant growth and the transformation to a co-educational institution, the university needed a more efficient plan for its campus space.  The master plan included comprehensive examination of the long-range programmatic and physical space needs to support new educational, extra-curricular, and student life activities.  It also projects the capital requirements of these suggested changes.  Main components of the plan include a strategy for major athletic facility expansion, a new student housing complex, and the introduction of new primary circulation routes for vehicles and pedestrians.  These improvements will serve to enhance the overall campus image and add life and vitality to the campus environment.
