Fulton Street Townhouses

Marist College

Poughkeepsie, NY

90,300 square feet

Marist College developed the Fulton Street Townhouses to expand the college's housing repertoire on its Poughkeepsie, New York campus.  Burt Hill designed the complex based on connections, character, and community.  The unique design also incorporates the surrounding landscape in order to build a stronger sense of community.

The buildings feature townhouse units that accommodate a total of 256 beds.  The furnished units include a kitchen, dining area, and living room.  Outdoor space is an important aspect of the design.  Quads, terraces, and courtyards are linked by paths and walkways that provide a strong visual link to the campus and offer areas for student activity.

Through an emphasis on the campus' natural beauty, Burt Hill designed a residence that enhances the student learning environment.
