Temple University’s Alter Hall is a state-of-the-art learning center dedicated to the education of tomorrow’s business leaders. The new addition to the Fox School of Business simulates a business environment, allowing students to gain valuable, practical experience while also strengthening the school’s partnership with the regional business community. The experiential design fosters small group collaboration and the formation of learning communities, with many areas catering to the interaction among students, faculty, staff, and members of the business community.
The technology-rich facility houses smart classrooms, case study classrooms, breakout rooms, conference rooms, computer labs, a business simulation center / trading room, a student lounge, and a 270-seat auditorium. Renovations to the adjacent Speakman Hall, previous home of the Fox School of Business, help to complete a new public face equal to the academic excellence of the well-respected school.
