Canon-McMillan High School

Canon-McMillan School District

Canonsburg, PA

278,000 square feet

To accommodate rapid growth in enrollment, the district’s high school underwent a renovation.  The existing, meandering single-story classroom wings were replaced with efficient and secure two-story classroom wings.  The new wings enclose a two-story atrium that functions as a means of circulation, as well as an extension of the cafeteria.  State-of-the-art telecommunications and media facilities accommodate rapidly changing technology and facilitate the school’s technologically advanced educational program.  To promote student participation in athletics, new facilities included a gymnasium with a running track and a natatorium.
