The Leonard Pearlstein Business Learning Center in the Bennett S. LeBow College of Business is a key element in Drexel's effort to reshape West Philadelphia into a “center of technology.” The four-story facility houses high-tech classrooms, computer labs, and four moot boardrooms in a corporate learning environment. The boardrooms allow teams of students to tackle real-world business projects while corporate executives and students in remote locations can participate in model business scenarios via video conferencing. Adjacent breakout / observation rooms promote a unique learning model through dialogue, observation, and interaction. Glass-enclosed walkways link the upper levels of the building to the adjacent Matheson Hall, increasing interaction between the two spaces. This project was completed in association with Philip Johnson / Alan Ritchie Architects of New York.
