Rob Pillar
Principal
Rob joined Burt Hill in 1987 and is a principal and leader in the K-12 group. Having dedicated his career to educational planning and design, Rob’s passion is to develop environments that support innovative curricula and enable our next generations to excel in a global society. Under Rob’s leadership, Burt Hill and Springfield School District were recognized with an award for the design of the Springfield Literacy Center at the CEFPI 2007 International Conference. This award recognizes design that exhibits excellence in improving the educational environment. He is an active member of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) and has earned the designation of Recognized Educational Facilities Professional (REFP). In addition to his professional pursuits, Rob voluntarily utilizes his talents to plan and improve educational facilities in developing countries such as Honduras and Cambodia. He is a graduate of Kent State University.
