Paul Pohlod

Principal

Paul leads the engineering laboratory market sector at Burt Hill, focusing on teaching and research laboratory facilities.  He has served as the engineering principal and lead designer on such sophisticated laboratory projects as the Cancer Research Building at Johns Hopkins University, the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institutes of Health, and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, while with firms other than Burt Hill.  Just as he designs spaces for teaching and research, he creates learning opportunities within Burt Hill.  With more than 20 years of management experience, Paul is a mentor to the young engineers on his team and a true hands-on leader; he spends nearly 80 percent of his time working alongside his team members on projects.
