David is the principal for engineering serving not only Burt Hill, but other architectural practices as well. David started his career at Burt Hill in the energy and engineering department, and is now widely recognized as an award-winning expert in energy-conscious design for healthcare, labs and higher education – but we know him best as an innovator who applies strategic planning and technology to solve unprecedented problems. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Hospital Association (AHA), and American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE). David is a graduate of General Motors Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and he completed graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin.
